Eddie began his career as a software engineer with Plessey Major Systems working on System X Development. He then worked as a researcher in Industrial Robotics at Cambridge University Engineering Department. He joined Analysys Ltd in 1989 and was seconded to the European Commission for three years where he worked on the applications of IT and communications to road transport in the DRIVE programme. He continued to work for Analysys for the next 10 years as consultant and senior consultant on a wide variety of telecommunications projects. He is currently a director of Priory Consulting Services Limited and continues to work on telecommunications and economic development projects.
